Canada’s “biggest annual party” is headed to LeBreton Flats Park, for the second straight year in 2023, with more than two dozen performers on stage over the day, Canadian Heritage announced Wednesday.
The free performances are from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., and then from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., followed by fireworks at 10 p.m.
The daytime events will highlight a number of themes, including the Canada’s diversity.
Hosted by radio and television presenter, Rebecca Makonnen, the morning show will begin with “a moment of Indigenous reflection,” and will then feature performers:

- Katia Rock
- Marie-Josée Dandeneau
In the evening, by radio host Isabelle Racicot will emcee a two-hour show, beginning at 8 p.m., with live acts including:

- Dubmatique
- Dax

- Madison Violet

CBC and Radio Canada are to broadcast the event.
The Canada Day fireworks, sponsored by Tim Hortons will begin at about 10 p.m. Organizers suggest LeBreton Flats Park and surrounding streets, which will be closed to traffic, should present the best views.
